Ready to spark your child's creativity this summer? Then sign them up for CALE's Summer STEAM Camp. Fill their days with hands-on activities all focused on innovation and sustainability. There are two sessions of CALE Summer STEAM Camp, June and July.
SESSION 1
June 3-27 (no school June 19)
June's theme is all about upcycling household items. Campers will transform discarded items into useful and artistic creations all while learning the importance of sustainability. Each week brings a new project and focus:
- Week 1: Plastic (bags and bottles) Projects
- Week 2: Paper Projects (bags and cardboard) Projects
- Week 3: Aluminum Cans and Glass Bottles Projects
- Week 4: Mixed Individual and Group Projects
- Add-in tutoring also available during the June session

SESSION 2
July 8-31
July's theme focuses on upcycling old electronics and gadgets. Campers will work together to turn salvaged electronics into art and other useful household items while learning about e-waste and its environmental impacts. Each week brings a new project and focus:
- Week 1: Repurpose into Art
- Week 2: Repurpose into a Useful Household Item
- Week 3: Reusing the electronic parts that still work
- Week 4: Mixed Individual and Group Projects
