I am so grateful to be able to represent the Central Missouri region as the Columbia MO Macaroni KID publisher. Since the beginning of 2024, I've been managing the Jefferson City Macaronia KID site and am looking forward to sharing my family's Columbia adventures and local favorites with you all!

About me
I am thrilled to be writing and sharing what’s going on in Columbia MO and our cental Missouri region with local families. To be honest, I’m still somewhat new to this area! I was born and raised in San Diego, CA with my big family (including 7 siblings.) I studied and graduated with my bachelors degree in Psychology from Brooklyn College in New York. It was in New York that I met my husband, Hicham and we started our family and had our first child, our son, Rayhan. We wanted to settle somewhere quieter and closer to family to raise our brood and since my parents retired to Lake of the Ozarks, mid MO it would be! Since our arrival here, our family has grown, my daughter Raja was born and we adopted a golden retriever named Brooklyn.
I had the pleasure of staying home with my children for the last year, however have recently transitioned to a new role with Parents as Teachers as a Parent Educator.
Coffee shops and parks are our regular hangouts. At home you would catch me crafting, cleaning or watching a smidge of garbage tv. If the weather is pleasant we plan to get outdoors for park play or trail walking.
I have set a goal to start a Mom Coffee Meetup, check the calendar for info after the new year!
